~ BPK - How to Play Famous Tori Amos Riffs Part I (Piano/Keyboard)
Views: 22592 | | | | | Silent All These Years, Precious Things, Pretty Good Year, A Sorta Fairytale, Cooling, iieee, Winter. The featured video for this month ...More is Juarez from To Venus and Back melded with You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette: www.youtube.com I love Juarez because of what Tori does with it when she plays it live. The album version is a bit cold and passionless but she really brings it to life both with band (as either herself or Clyde) and solo. Her mesmerizing key change at the end of her solo piano Juarez was the main inspiration for me to play it that way. Check it out if you love Juarez as much as I do! Beware though, the video received some random hate and a 1-star rating. It's not for the feint of heart or anyone who has trouble understanding Tori or Juarez itself. Here are some links to covers of the full songs in the tutorial here. A few of them are a bit older and not as polished but I think they'll help from an information standpoint. UPDATE: I freshened up most of the really old ones so they are more fun. :-D Silent All These Years: www.youtube.com Precious Things: www.youtube.com Pretty Good Year: www.youtube.com (I play the vocals and piano part simultaneously and have some fun with it.) Pretty Good Year (Instrumental): www.youtube.com (This is performed by a friend named Justin who is a new pianist and he plays the instrumental version as written by ... |
