~ Engelbert Humperdinck - 2 More Italian Songs "Cafe" & "Let's Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" 1969
Views: 3689 | | | | | Here are 2 more italian songs from Engelbert. These 2 are taken from one of his greatest LPs, "Engelbert Humperdinck" from 1969. The first song is "Cafe" (Cosa Hai Messo Nel Caffe) which also appears as the B side of the first hit single from this LP, "I' ...More m A Better Man".(a Bacharach/David composition) The second is the beautiful "Let's Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" (Un Nuovo Mondo) which was penned by the same composers who wrote Enge's classic "A Man Without Love". This is the companion LP to Enge's ABC Television show. The front cover photo of this LP is actually a still from that series as is the logo of his name. I hope someday that the powers that be will release the series on DVD as they did with the "This Is Tom Jones" series. Some of the footage has shown up on DVD but there is so much more that could be released for all of us die hard fans. There are so many incredible performances from this series that it seems a shame not to release them. They have been sitting on them for 40 years. I think the time has come to share them with the world. I know I speak for all you "HUMPYMANICS"!! Write your congressman!! LOL!! Let's put Marilyn in charge of this...SHE'LL GET IT DONE!! (They won't know what hit 'em!!) ROFL!! ENJOY!! |
